Die Transferforschung befasst sich mit der Untersuchung des interlingualen Einflusses, der insbesondere beim Erwerb weiterer Fremdsprachen (Tertiärsprachen) zum Tragen kommt. Die hier vorliegende Studie untersucht den Erwerb der Position von Objektpronomen bei Lernenden von Deutsch als L3. Dafür bearbeiteten mäßig fortgeschrittene und fortgeschrittene Deutschlernende – zwei Gruppen mit L1 Rumänisch, L2 Englisch, eine Gruppe mit L1 Englisch, L2 Französisch – eine Grammatikalitätseinschätzungs- und -korrekturaufgabe, welche grammatische und ungrammatische Sätze mit prä- und postverbalen Objektpronomen beinhaltete. Aus den Ergebnissen geht hervor, dass Englisch für die Struktur im Deutschen als Haupttransferquelle fungiert, wobei die Art des Einflusses einerseits vom Sprachniveau, andererseits von der Sprachenfolge der Lernenden abhängt.

Research on linguistic transfer is mainly concerned with the study of cross-linguistic influence (CLI), which comes into play especially in the acquisition of further foreign languages (tertiary languages). The study presented here deals with the acquisition of the position of object pronouns by learners of L3 German. For this purpose, intermediate and advanced learners of German – two groups with L1 Romanian, L2 English, one group with L1 English, L2 French – completed a grammaticality judgment and correction task (GJCT) which contained grammatical and ungrammatical sentences including pre- and post-verbally positioned object pronouns. From the results, it appears that English acts as the main source of transfer, with the nature of the influence depending on the linguistic level as well as the language sequence of the learners.
