Dichotomien der Globalisierung und Regionalisierung, Internationalisierung und Nationalisierung, Vielfalt und Einheit, Relativismus und Universalismus werden in diesem Beitrag der Diskussion literarischer Entwicklungen mit regionalem Bezug zugrunde gelegt. Dies erlaubt, die per se aufgrund des künstlerischen Mediums der Sprache unhintergehbare geographische Verortung von Literatur zu Prozessen globaler Kunst- und Literaturproduktion, -rezeption und -märkte in Bezug zu setzen. Im zweiten Teil des Beitrags werden dem entsprechende theoretisch-methodische Grundlagen der Interkulturellen Philologie und Hermeneutik sowie der Texthistorik skizziert.

Dichotomies of globalisation and regionalisation, internationalisation and nationalisation, diversity and unity, relativism and universalism are taken as a basis for the discussion of literary developments with a regional reference in this contribution. This makes it possible to relate literature to geographical contexts. Due to the artistic medium of language, such contextual references are inevitable, but the processes of global art and literature production, reception and marketing must not be lost sight of. The second part of the article outlines the corresponding theoretical and methodological foundations of intercultural philology and hermeneutics as well as textual history.
